Isa Lake at Continental Divide

This small lily pad-covered lake is unique in that it straddles the continental divide and drains to two different oceans. The east side of the lake drains to the Pacific Ocean (yes, that’s right) by way of the Lewis River, and the west side of the lake drains to the Atlantic Ocean by way of the Firehole River. An informational kiosk provides detailed information of the interesting drainage logistics of the lake.
