This geothermal area features two bubbling hot pools and a boiling spring where water boils intensely up from beneath, forming a pond next to the road. Yellow flowers line the edges of the pond providing a beautifully accented boundary. There is a nice parking lot just off the side of the road. The wheelchair accessible boardwalk, with gentle up and down slopes, makes a complete loop around the geothermal features before returning to the parking lot. The hot water from the spring passes under the main road via pipes and flows out over the landscape producing a fluvial looking feature of soil without vegetation from the effects of the hot acidic water.
