Approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) in from the West Entrance is a great setting for a photo op. Directly down from the pull off, a large rock extends out into the river providing a wonderful location from which to snap a downstream photo with mountains of the Madison Range providing a spectacular backdrop. This location also provides easy access to the river for fishing with riffles nearby – up and down stream.
