You are likely to spot Bighorn Sheep atop the cliffs on the east side of Gardner Canyon. You cannot hike in this Bighorn Sheep Management Area but spotting the sheep atop the cliffs with the sky as the backdrop makes for some really fantastic viewing and photo ops.  Sometimes you can see the sheep on the western side of the canyon as well as herds of elk. So, bring your cameras and binoculars and enjoy watching this powerful animal moving about on the cliffs.
